We LOVE this bed for our 22 lb Frenchie!! She's close enough to us at night that she still feels like she's in the bed with us. The design is superb! It's easy to put together with just 1 person and is sturdy. The appearance and color very nice. We added a fluffy blanket to the bed just for more padding. Would recommend!
High cost but worth it, very good quality I have a 5 pound Yorkie that takes up the whole bed and now I can say get in your bed and we can sleep with out fear of disturbing her or rolling on her, she really loves it too

Weve used a bassinet to keep our small 3lb dog by us at night for years- but its always been way too bulky for her very small size.
The Close To Me bed is still pretty big for her (even with a Medium Squishmallows Pet Bed in it there is a considerable amount of apace within the bed area, however, it functions much better than a bassinet made for human babies, so we call it a win.
Despite seemingly intricate instructions we found variations in appearance of parts and phrasing that, at times, got confusing despite considering ourselves rather experienced with product assemblies.
There ia also a decent gap that seems to keep building between the bed and the mattress I cant seem to stop despite ratchetting and installing per instructions- probably not a danger with the average 10lb dog but with our 3lb girl it is a concern so I try to always keep an excess blanket laying from the bed to the Close To Me to eliminate any potential for getting stuck.
In All, its been a good solution for us, and we our dog adopted it right away, which is always a win.
Lastly, it doesnt adjust to ideal height for our memory foam mattress with no boxspring, and id like more height adjustability, ideally.
